Between my undergraduate degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies and joining BPP as a graduate student at Oregon State I had four years of jobs ranging from studying bees in Africa, Asia, and Europe, to restoring prairies on the Great Plains to monitoring aquatic macroinvertebrates in the Intermountain West. I am particularly suited to offering insight into careers in field-based ecological research and natural resource management and have a good grasp of opportunities for undergraduates to gain experience doing fun professional things outside of the university setting.

I study desert mosses and dryland restoration and am advised by Dr. David Pyke.
